The OP Stack accounts for 52.9% of all Layer 2 transactions. This last week, the Superchain saw on average 9.1M daily transactions and 46.7% of all Layer 2 transactions. The network boasts over 2,970 revenue-generating deployers, contributing to the Optimism Collective. To date, 16.2K ETH has been contributed to the Optimism Collective—Data Fetched from the Superchain Health Dashboard.

Running from November 21, 2024, to January 21, 2025, participants can earn between 200 and 10,000 $MINT tokens through various activities like inviting friends, bridging ETH to Mint Blockchain, and completing social media tasks.

Automata Network is advancing the Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) ecosystem by introducing Succinct SP1 to the DCAP attestation stack, supporting Intel SGX and TDX. This open-source enhancement includes SP1, a high-performance zkVM enabling efficient SGX/TDX attestation for onchain verification. Performance improvements, such as a 41x reduction in program cycle count, highlight its impact.
Automata has also released the Intel TDX Attestation SDK, simplifying the verification of TDX quotes onchain, along with tools like RISC Zero and Succinct CLIs. The MODE AI Agent App Store is now live, providing a platform for discovering AI agents designed to transform DeFi by enabling autonomous, onchain interactions with minimal human input. This launch supports MODE’s vision of AI agents becoming the largest consumers of blockspace by 2026.

The guide to Season 7 for Optimism Governance has been released, outlining plans from January 16 to June 11, 2025. Season 7 focuses on interoperability as a core pillar of the Superchain Product Vision. Key updates include shared Intents ratified by both the Token House and Citizens’ House, streamlined Missions with measurable metrics, and enhanced governance processes to support decentralization.
